 Headed to some agricultural farms near my house. Hopped over a fence and took these shots towards the sunrise. It was a very clear morning but there was some smoke from nearby houses that seemed to give the sky an eerie look so I edited to keep that look. The corm was a good 8 foot high so I wasn't able to get the shot I was hoping for.

The sun had been up for about 4 or 5 minutes already when I took this shot. Not ver evident from this shot but there are some trees at the end of this farm that blocked the sunrise. Due to the sun being up for a bit already, the light was pretty good and allowed me to get a lot of detail in the actual corn leaves etc and it almost looks back-lit.

Editing was a blend of 2 shots 2,3 stops apart using gradients and luminosity masks. Some dodging and burning with more luminosity masks, SEP2 layer in luminosity mode, vignette, resize and sharpen, SFW.

Now see, I gave this a 9, darn near a 10, and quite preferred it to Rian's HM. Just shows to go you. I love the light on the corn tassels and leaves and the orderly precision of the rows. Maybe because I live in corn country, I "saw" many more rows than you have captured here so this fit the challenge beautifully for me but might not have done so for others . . .
