 lots of fun with this one, special thanks to my teammates for the idea of playing with liquify to make the eyes bigger and all the other input they gave.

ETA: this started out in the lower 6's and just steadily climbed all week.

The image was made from two shots the first had my daughter with the apple and arrow stuck into a long board.



then i place in a photo of a tekephone pole i took earlier that day:



lots of dodging and burning, radial blur, liquify, more burning and i the apple spray was done with a simple scattering of the brush and some masking.

I can see/hear the FFFFPPPPHHHHWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH PAh-----------T!!! of the arrow racing through the air and then the stick into the tree!

Not voting, but i'd be giving this an 8 or a 9 if i were.
This is definitely a ribbon contender based on what i've seen of the entries, hopefully it nets you the blue!
