My reluctant girlfriend held a mug of milk over her head and dropped it on the ground at her feet while I captured it. Unfortunately the mug didn't break, but it only took me one try.

I love this shot, and how the milk splashes out of the cup. I think it would have looked better on a kitchen floor, for example, but who wants to mop up the milk and cup.

I hope this was your first take!
good splash, very thick and creamy liquid, and I like the grass/sidewalk line in the background

very cool shot, though the background is a bit of a distraction.

How many times did you have to drop the cup to get this shot! Fantastic photography!

You've proven that spilt milk can be beautiful. I may have to get a print of this shot and hang it over my kitchen table to remind me of that (we spill a glass at least 2-3 times a week). I would like to see it in a different setting, but the milk drops are really what stands out.

Technically I guess you could say you accomplished a stopped motion image, but one without artistic merit, imo. The background, besides being underexposed and ugly, has no relation to the subject. I think with a bit more expousre you could have whitened the milk more to have greater impact. The one thing I do like in this picture is the milk droplets that appear to float in space.

Very nice capture. With a less distracting background it would have been superb.

You captured the motion nicely with enough DOF and light. It may just be my monitor but it looks a little over shappened for my taste. Overall nice photo. 6

Nice capture. I think a monotone background would give this more of a studio feel. Could be a good candidate for white-on-white imho.
