Critique Club Critique
(1) COMPOSITION (CONTENT) Well composed. The strong use of repeating shapes, along with magnificent colors works very well in this composition. The swooping circles seem to carry the viewer into the photograph. I feel almost as if I was on a roller coaster when viewing this.
(2) BACKGROUND The dark background is completely necessary for this to work as well as it did. I love the fainter cirles in the background, repeating the main foreground circles. I think it is this repeating pattern that really make this photograph.
(3) CAMERA WORK ,TECHNICAL I am not sure how you did this, and I am not sure what it is, but it works very well as a colorful abstract. I have a feeling that you might have done a little better in the scoring if your subject had been more identifable, as people on DPC do not score abstracts well over all. This is an unfortunate truth, as those of us who like abstracts probably scored this very high.
(4) DIGITAL PROCESSING ,TECHNICAL Good processing. Your colors really "pop". I love the contrast between the dark background and the bright, vivid colors of the foreground.
(5)MEETING THE CHALLENGE This photo does a very good job of meeting the challenge. You picked a very recognisable song too.
(6) MY OPINION ON THE PHOTO A very beautiful photo. This is one that I would be proud to hang in my home. Great job. You should be proud of this one. |

| pretty. don't believe them when they tell you it's too abstract, these are the people who don't know how to have a good time. you moved the camera? christmas tree lights? |

| Great color and energy. I know this stuff is pretty tricky. So much in fact that sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. Well, whicever it is nice job. |
