The composition is daring: centered vertically with elbow and toes so close to the edge of the frame. But it's nicely balanced and I think it works well. Not quite in focus though. |

Good stop of motion, but serious composition problems. I would recommend trying to capture this shot without the tree tops in the background. I would also recommend taking this as landscape instead of portrait. The lighting is also a bit harsh, but could work for this picture with the other corrections. |

A horizontal crop would probably fit this better. |

disturbing background, great pose - fill-in flash would have helped |

Might have tried for a horizontal crop, but I don't know what you had to work with. The photo has energy, and I think it would have had more impact facing the sun as to bring out the expressionthe face. |

Great capture but the exposure isnt very good. To much shadow in the face and other bodyparts. |

Dang, he was high off the ground. Hope he landed okay. Nice stop action. |

shame about the background, could have been a winner if you had chosen something less like a snapshot |

The portrait style really doesn't work for this shot IMO.. and the subject is far too dark. Also, the composition hurts because of the trees.
You've certainly stopped the motion well enough though. |

Very good capture. I would have used the sky exclusively to deliniate the subject's figure and then you would have had complete freedom to adjust the levels on the figure. The jump and pose is outstanding. Also, not dead sharp but the comp is strong enough to bump you up to 6. |

This is a good action shot. I think I would like it better horizontally. |

Wouldn't wanna run into you in a back alley, great itming and nice composition. Maybe a bit sharper if you bumped up your shutter speed. Good luck! |

Good shot - shadows on camera side detract |

the trees in the background spoil the picture. Make it all unclear. Otherwise nice. |

I think the shot might work better as a horizontal with more space on his sides. Great shot! |

I think landscape framing of this picture would have added impact to the action of the model. - 5 |
