Sole-full interdependency. Give something to receive that look back. You're a winner all the way. |

My eyes go back and forth between the woman, and the background both holding my interest. Art indeed.. |

Delightful image. You have provided an out of frame story, joke, or smile for the viewer. 9 |

The sweetness of devotion and a wry smile renders me a bubbling puddle of admiration and longing. It happens in a moment but lasts beyond a lifetime. 8 |

This is a new comment series for me, so please bear with me while I find my style!
(Voted earlier)
This is one of my 9s - I like it a lot. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:
1. One of those images that has the power to stop you. This will be a difficult comment for me to write because its the intangibles that have stopped me here.
2. I really like the dingy coloration and the slight grain.
3. The composition is rule-breakingly bold - I really like that.
4. The medicus-shaped structure towards the middle of the image is most compelling - especially as I can't work out what it is.
5. The figure is interesting and difficult to gender-categorise, they seem a little sad - but resigned too.
Overall, this is a surprising find. All the better for it. |

To be able to always find the humor in life is a blessing ... not sure who said this but start every day off with a smile and get it over with.
Ok then.... this made me think. Good one. |

The combination of character, grain and composition all work well together. Her left eye really pulls the viewer in. |
