Thanks pixelpig for the comment - it was valentines day hehe and thanks also for the good wishes.

Kroburg that's a lovely way to sum up the meaning .. where I am from in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, we use the word céilidh all the time to mean a party - as in "going to have a kitchen céilidh tonight". Then you know that along with some good food, there will be music. Fiddles, guitars and sometimes a piper. As you probably know Kroburg it's pronounced sort of like Kaylee with a hard K - well, kind of. Some of my cats are named Fiona, Angus and Seamus - I was feeling homesick when I named them. All my father's people were Scots quite a different blood line on mom's side.

Thank you all for your comments - Ceilidh is going for surgery .. she has huge bladder stones and will be operated on once her blood work and other tests come back - please think of her and offer whatever is sacred in your spiritual life for her recovery .. she means the world to me.
Also thanks for the good wishes - I am getting there and hope to be back to taking photographs soon. Best - Maggie

She is CUTE. Actually has this half smile on her face and her eyes seem to match the grin ... very cute. Nice bokeh type BG in green on top, pitty the white "thing" comes in from top left corner.

She is lovely (and what a lovely name - IMO ceilidh stands for joy, having fun together). With the shallow DOF your eyes are attracted to her face and she is showing some kind of pondering look as if to say: do I really have to wear those bows? :-)

Feel better soon! I like the bows! Looks like she's been to the groomer's to get ready for a party. Sometimes, some dogs look at you with so much awareness in their eyes. Like this one.
