Thank you all for your comments - Ceilidh is going for surgery .. she has huge bladder stones and will be operated on once her blood work and other tests come back - please think of her and offer whatever is sacred in your spiritual life for her recovery .. she means the world to me.
Also thanks for the good wishes - I am getting there and hope to be back to taking photographs soon. Best - Maggie |

Nice bokeh, Im liking all the complimentary colours of the background/foreground against her black and white. Such a sweet little dog. Hope your feeling better. |

What an adorable portrait for such a beautiful pup. Love the bokeh in the background and the wonderful crisp focus on her face. |

She is CUTE. Actually has this half smile on her face and her eyes seem to match the grin ... very cute. Nice bokeh type BG in green on top, pitty the white "thing" comes in from top left corner.
Hope you are feeling better soon. |

What a cutie. I like how the focus is on her face and everything else just blurs away. |

Beautiful nose she has, and a funny contrast between her somewhat awkward smile and the (too small) bows she had to wear. |

She is lovely (and what a lovely name - IMO ceilidh stands for joy, having fun together). With the shallow DOF your eyes are attracted to her face and she is showing some kind of pondering look as if to say: do I really have to wear those bows? :-) |

Feel better soon! I like the bows! Looks like she's been to the groomer's to get ready for a party. Sometimes, some dogs look at you with so much awareness in their eyes. Like this one.
