Yup -- Colonial Williamsburg -- but that's about as close as I can get to an old French village!

Didn't care for any of the shots that I got, but I really liked this guy on the bench, and the sign. The one thing I'm really happy with are the comments that said they liked the light. I think Jagar is the master of taming the light. The harshness of the shadows was difficult to work with, so I kept massaging them, trying to get them to blend and play instead of take over the shot. Thank you so much for noticing!! I'm still not sure I succeeded, but was deliriously happy to think that a couple of people thought I did. :)

What a wonderful challenge -- and what fun it was to try and emulate the master. :)

Underrated I reckon, same scene but my part of the globe and you would have a better score.
