 As a few guessed, this is a Devon Rex kitten at our local cat show. The cage she's in is how they keep the cats while they're being judged, they're only in the little cages for a little while, although this one thought any time at all was way too long. She actually won 2nd best kitten at the time we were watching. I'm not sure how the judging works, but I don't think that award was for the entire show.

Great capture of the kitten, especially under cat show conditions. I know that the sign gives the shot context, but I really like it when I scroll down and eliminate the top of the cage.

Get me OUT of here!!!! Really well done, given the circumstances you had to work with. Cat shows are lousy places to get a good shot. The expression and attitude work great with the....ummmm....unusual...appearance of the cat.

She doesn't look all that happy to be in that cage :) That long neck is really something else. As kasaba said, my first thought was that you somehow elongated the neck and worked on the mouth. She has really curly fur!

I hate to say it, but were it not for the straight cage bars, I would have sworn you elongated the neck and widened the mouth in pp :-). What a funny shot of a seriously annoyed kitten.

You did an excellent job in all aspects of this photo but to me, this gotta be the ugliest cat I ever saw- I know it's the breed but it looks like it needs a good feed of bacon lol. However as I said, as awesome job of photographing it.

Amazing kitten. I love cats, we have two at home, and they're great pals that love to be cuddled. But that's not what this kitten seems to aspire, at least not at this very moment. I guess I'm not a Devon Rex kind of guy.
