This is really an excellent image. Beautiful tones. It reminds me of a charcoal drawing. |

Subdued tonal range is hard to find in this age of digital processing. This is quite sensitively processed into a contemplative study of anticipation. Very beautifully done. |

Beautiful lines, nicely framed. A secret treasure, about to emerge, well guarded by the stronger leaves. |

Amazing how good these PAW photos are without the pressure of coming up with something for a challenge. Great tones and soft greys. Pleasant without being brash and oversaturated as in a challenge. B&W FTW. |

This is awesome! Love the lines and shapes. B&W is probably the best choice you could have made with this image. Nicely done! |

Lovely lines and the tonal range is perfect to my eyes - I love how the markings on the right full frond look like Chinese lettering (to my very uneducated in other languages eyes) |

This is seriously good. I might bring the brightness of the brighter parts up a touch, but it's an interesting and engaging image. |

Haha even before I saw the title I was thinking of the word emerging. I love how the bloom is nestled in the leaves ready to make an entrance. Good choice with the b/w tones. |

Lovely flowing lines. The mono works well for this subject. I might lighten the flower part just a tad just to see how it looks. It may help to bring out the wow just a little more, or maybe not too. Beautiful fine details on the flower petals too. |
