He gazed up at the King of Beasts. Oh, how he would love to have that power. Oh how he would love to have that life. Nobody telling him what to do, when to hunt, how to avoid danger. Just strut around like he owned the place. Oh, it would be so grand.
Yet in his envy and his desire, he never did see the sadness in the eyes of the King of Beasts, and failed to recognize that perhaps another's life isn't necessarily greater than one's own, no matter what the decorations of the package. |
