Very nice, classy. Not everyone will have such a lovely piece of furniture to shoot. I think you may have an unfair advantage. :)

I find it unusual to have a vignette with such sharp corners ... to look really old-style I'd round them off.

Very nice still life. Clarity is wonderful, and the arrangement seems balanced. To me, it evokes a fine mood, so I think your photo works! 8

Nice b/w picture. I usually don't comment on border treatments, but in this case the treatment bothers me just a bit. IMHO it takes away from a picture that is quite strong on its own. I think I would probably try a crop to just about where your "fuzzy" sections start. But I may be wrong :) It's a very crisp shot though, looks a bit like it came out of a noir film. I hope you do well in the challenge. ~8

Nice b&w - very old-fashioned feel. The border?

This works well. My only complaint is the highlight on the clock which is a bit blown out. Still the composition is very good and the picture evokes a more peaceful time.

The strange angles of your 'verticals' on the dresserfront and the headboard/footboard are disconcerting. Great lighting, though.

charming photograph wonder if it would have been better without the faded borde4r? but I like it a lot
