 I have very few high vantage points available. There is a Wisconsin state law that says no building in the madison city limits can be taller than the Capitol. This highly limits our building sizes but creates the famous Madison skyline.

So for this photo I drove up to the top of the tallest parking garage (6 stories) and was planning on using my monopod to shoot the road. I took some, but wasn't happy. So I changed my approach to look over the city with the road showing how "high" up I am. As you can see, 6 stories is tall here (some of the hotels goto about 12 stories, but without renting a room I cannot view out them).

The light creates an almost "European" for lack of a better descriptor- drama. nicely shot.

I can see this was in low light - evening or very early morning - by the reflection of the car lights. I like the inclusion of the road for the reason you stated.

Totally agree. Upon submitting this I thought I had a ton ten style shot. But I can't complain, tis a death by a thousand sixes, instead of my more common death by a thousand fives :)
