 I was set up to shoot birds, on a cabin porch. These beauties came, escorted by mom, who gave them permission to drink. Was I lucky! Sigma 50-500.

great job, taking advantage of the opportunity. one thing i really like here is how well the subjects natural camoflage is working (too bad about the challenge timing...). the moment is spectacular, and the reflections are priceless! this sure is an extreme change from shooting jets, wouldn't you say?
