-Unsharp Mask
-Add border (produced by blurring a copy of the image, resize it and put it at the background after some adjustments, like brighness and contrast)
-Resize and save for web

Disqualification Details
You may not use ANY editing tool to move, remove or duplicate any element of your photograph that would change a typical viewer's description of the photograph (aside from color), even if the tool is otherwise legal, and regardless of whether you intended the change when the photograph was taken.

Sorry to see this DQd, Paschalis. Truly a beautiful image and a worthy represent of our planet, it was one of my top votes.

Personally, I don't think it should matter how the border was created and I hope the discussion of the rule for borders will change.

I hope it isn't the border that got this dq'd. It shouldn't matter how it was made - it's the border... and it could have been done via a gradient map.

I gave u and 8 on this and am totaly shocked they put mine above this. I REALLY thought this was the Blue!!! and still do.. It is Amazeing.. Congrats on the top 10 Thats nothing to sneeze about in a Best Of!

Wow. Double Wow. I am hot and cold over this image. Simply love the minimalism in the work and the colours, but the framing, I'm sorry it's just ugh. A simplistic minimal outer white 5px frame would have complemented the photo...I can't justify a fair vote...the frame is OTT.

God sighed, and not for the first time regretted creating those damnable humans. Not only did he have to put up with their constant sinning, but now his angels had discovered Pink Flamingo lawn ornaments for Heaven.

God tipped a little more bourbon into his coffee, and sighed once more.

I love the gradient from blue to pink and the subject highlighted in the middle. However for me the border took away from this image and was unnecessary.
