 I really wasn't sure about this challenge. I didn't know if it meant getting a picture of something that represents The Arts or to make something (ourselves) that represents The Arts. This is also my very first time trying to do something the Advance Editing challenge. I did try to get into the rules quite a bit and just went down the list on what to do or not do.

Increased the contrast
Adjusted Hue/Saturation
USM
Added a simple outside border
Flatten Image
Saved for Web

nice find. I feel your subject is well lit and the depth of field is nice. for me the bold black frame and vibrant colours in the background are stealing the shot. Daniel is a passive subject in the image as a result. I like the composition and it looks like you had the time of day right for lighting.

The out of focus background gives this image a real lift. It enhances the sculpture and brings it to life.
