Greetings from the Critique Club.
First of all. Excellent job on your exposure. I can see that you're shooting in strong sunlight and yet the boy's face can be clearly seen. Very well done. The shot is in focus and you were able to stop most of the action. The ball is a little blurry, but that was most likely the fastest moving object in the shot. The only thing that takes away from the shot, IMHO, is the line of the fence cutting the boy in the head. It's escpecially highlighted by the bright patch of sun in his hair. If you were on your knees when you shot this, you might want to consider standing next time. That will change the position of the line in relation to the boy. Play around with standing on a chair (if possible) or maybe lying on the ground to get some new angles. Lastly, I love the little puff of grass behind the boy in blue. Excellent timing. |

Straighten this out and shoot or crop tighter and you're at 7. |

IMHO maybe a little closer with the cropping...great shot tho. |
