This feels like December to me, though without the snow.
Seems cutout from a scene of a novel or movie.

another picture I keep trying to take. can't tell if the strength of resonance derives from your familiar region (1951 for me), or from the iconic crows in corn stubble. beautiful hanging together.

I must try to be a jerk one of these days.

Washed out and not very interesting - not trying to be a jerk, but it's true. There is nothing really interesting in this image and the rather dull color doesn't help it any either.

The tonality (and composition) is just beautiful. The grayish/greenish filter that you probably added is a superb choice.
