Please do not be concerned for our cat Tai Lung as he was fine. Our dog Zippy gets on fine with our four cats and it’s the cats that keep the dog in place (he’s very smart but a wimp).

I guess this doesn’t really fit the challenge but I had no real idea what was expected. I like this shot and thought I might as well shoe horn it as I was not going to enter otherwise.

Three 10s from the dog lovers/cat haters! ;-)

I really enjoyed this shot because I, too, have a dog and a cat who are best friends. They sometimes wrestle and "fight" and an outsider would probably get concerned if they saw a photo of them doing it without knowing the very happy outcome.

This isn't some amazing piece of art, but I enjoy the bright colours and the frenzied activity. It is a very lovely snapshot and I'm glad you're not upset that it didn't do well on DPC.

To any one who was concerned or upset by the photo, it is quite clear that the cat wasn't in the least bit bothered - at the least alarm a cat's tail bristles to double it's size, but here the cat is completely relaxed.

Thanks for your concern Gary but I was not disappointed at all and it was just about where I had expected it to finish. I'm not too sure why you would consider it unfortunate unless you felt it was unfortunate that you had to view it. If that was the case I'm sorry if the image offended you.

I was very surprised at how much it looked like the dog was abut to eat the cat when I reviewed the image as they get along quite well and were just playing. What I liked abut the image and why I entered it was that for me it captured an interesting bit of action and the colours nicely added to the shot. I usually convert to B&W unless the colours really appeal to me.

I find this image disturbing especially when connected with the title. However, it is a well done shot.
