 Sardines. First time I had to clean the fish inside and outside myself (bought them completely frozen). Outtake from the Zodiac II challenge.

Excellent shot - very bright, clean, crisp. Though they're quite dead, they almost look like they're lined up and waiting to go somewhere.

I like the abstract quality to this, the way the DOF works, the subtle touches of color, the patterns of light & shadow.

I think this is terrific, too - and like the others, I don't know why. Simple. Clean. Interesting. Pathetic ( in the sense of arousing sympathy).

I love the opalescent fish...I'm not quite sure why, but ido really enjoy looking at this. There is just something so pleasing about it.
