b/w is a good choice here to focus on the textures and shadows
the choice of composition with the tree leaning into the scene helps pull the viewer down the hill |

| Everything is worth a picture here - great sky, lovely valley and rolling hills, and a beautiful old tree with interesting lines. Excellent tonal range. |
