 My two younger kids went to a K-6 elementary school last year. But in the middle of the school year, the 6th graders were moved to the new Middle School. That meant that my 5th grader was now the "graduating class" of the school. So these guys were celebrating their last day with their "3 Words" signs (whatever that fad is right now). I liked how they all gathered for the parents so we could take this shot. Some of the signs are funny and I hope they will see this again one day and laugh. (They WERE pretty excited about leaving school tho.)

I wanted to go for a cartoonish look. I used to be able to do it in Topaz but they changed their software some and I have not taken the time to learn it better. There was too much sharpening in this but the rest is ok.

Really a cute shot! Is that all of the kids from the graduating class? That's a really small class! They look so happy!

It's fresh and cute and I like it a lot, Michelle. I spotted your kid's smiling face right away and knew whose image I had opened without looking :)

Really good exposure and colors. Did you use a fill flash? If yes, then it really was a great assist. If no, then you had amazingly wonderful diffuse light. Good job of oomp.

At least no one has a sign along the lines of "These will be the best years of you life" in three words. I remember graduating high school when everyone would say crap like that. My retort was always if this is as good as it gets, shoot me now.

The best sign is the one which reads "No Little Kids". From my perspective, that's exactly what he is. Oh how perspectives change depending on where you are.
