 I wanted to do this type of picture for a while now. I love the moody feel it gives.

Polarising filter and flash at mid day.

Chippy and Chanel were willing models running over the A-frame, an agility obstacle. The apex is approx 1,7 meters off the ground.

OH MY WORD!!! ... A RIBBON .... Christmas has just come early.
Got to the computer to check the scores and stared at the screen, wondering what was going on that the "submissin" column had shifted to mid page ... :-).
Front page! ... I still can't believe it ...
Also a PP.
And all that with a shot that wasn't what I had had in mind for the challenge, and I was in 2 minds if I should even enter it!

Not at all :-). Thank you for your original comment. Clearly the sky wasn't "strong" enough to show what I wanted it to show. I thought your comment was most useful, honestly.
I did think it should have been darker actually, but that was the best I could get it to without loosing other stuff. Not sure if there are stronger polarising filters? When I bought mine they just gave me the one I now have. Never asked a question, so I assumed that is what there is. Will check that out.

Nicely detailed dogs look familiar. Interesting color choice like an old aristocratic pet portrait painting - and those dogs look more classic with each glance. Bump to 7

I don't know if it's the lighting or processing, but the sky just looks weird. Use of flash without some sort of bounce or diffuser probably hurt this. Still a cute shot. :)
