A (tiny) grape hyacinth shot through gelatin, which is a thankful ingredient for desserts. The gelatin I mean, never tried hyacinths for dessert :)

But, they are edible... //www.eattheweeds.com/tassel-musk-and-grape-hyacinths/!

It's like looking through glass! Well done!

This is a really cool effect. But i am confused too. Are the flowers submerged in gelatin with wire?

Very interesting effect! They are a tough flower to capture, IMO.

Lovely details in the flowers - i like the how the gelatin is acting like a lens

An interesting presentation - almost looks as though it is part of a mosaic design.

Now this is an interesting change from a typical DPC flower.

I'm thoroughly confused. Two non-food images in a row, well sort-of with this one. This is a really cool idea. Time to start making my own gelatin filters at home.

A beautiful flower - what made you think to shoot them through gelatin?

Very cool to see the light diffraction through the gelatin material.

The bulbs are toxic but eating the flowers should be okay. Let us know.

Very interesting shot and I like the way the gelatin is acting almost as a macro or tilt shift lens and bringing just that one diamond into focus. I'm not understanding how you did this, though. Can you explain more?

Interesting idea! I have these in my yard, and I really like them, but I have yet to get an interesting shot of them.
