 Ah, my friend the Snow Egret. He hung around this park all winter, providing me with many wonderful photo ops.

lovely shot, great technicals just find myself wanting to see more at this size, maybe crop in a bit closer as bottom right is a bit dark.

Wowowow! Bkg may be a little too dark, but I don't think it hurts the overall image - really makes the bird poop- er, I meant "pop". :)

First impression? How beautifully he stands out against the background! Maybe bassbone's right about the darkness of the background and the balance but it sure does have impact!

Wonderful 'pose' by the egret. You captured this one masterfully. I can see that background is a but overdone on the darkening so it does not balance the image perfectly, but the technique you used does make our friend jump off the screen.
