Taken in the early days of this year at a dinner party... Mickey (this dude) was almost asleep when the festivities began and at this point I think he's actually sleeping :)

Here's a retouched version so people can see the difference their comments make!!

quite the difference a few small edits make. Nice natural portrait.

Good portrait- nice moment captured. I think maybe something between your original and the edit would be nice. The WB doesn't concern me that much, but as others have said; maybe more brightness in the eyes (accentuate just the highlights of them possibly?).

He has something about him that makes you wonder what he is thinking. Color is still a bit off, maybe it is the red in his eyes that are throwing me. I would process it further to bring out a bit more light in the eyes.

Is that a pillow behind him LOL?

I like the softness of the light.

ha - sleeping with his eyes open? This is actually a great portrait. It seems like you've caught his essence or soul.

Fixed the white balance and everybody is right: it's better. Thanks for that!

I use that copyright cause 99% of my work is in B&W - this helps me with the visual. You're right on color it seems a bit strange.

i like the intimate nature of the shot - i think a white balance adjustment if possible or a conversion to b/w might be in order as Sarah suggests...

Yes, pity about the white balance, fixing that would really help. It's a very nice portrait though.
