Well as of right now this is over a 5, better then expected lol. Yes I know it would of looked better if the top of my head wasn't showing but I only took a couple of shots, believe it or not I wasn't all that thrilled to be holding a severed deer head in the house. This is a real deer head, not stuffed. Our neighbor was butchering a recent kill and my daughter was watching, I think it important for her to know where food comes from and that meat comes from animals that were living and walking around. I wasn't going to enter anything but how often have you seen a shot like this on here?

Can't say I'm shocked it finished so low, but please don't start making crap I wouldn't hang on my walls. I might give some of the other images decent scores, but that's only because so few people here do original, risky, push the boundaries style of images.

You know I like your photos, but not this one. Especially the white background and the head too much out of focus. The idea worked, but not how you tried to represent it. But I'm always happy to see how you try to do something different than some mainstream photos.

Like I've mentioned before, you're very dichotomous. A couple of the near recent challenges I killed you in voting. Not this one. It's macabre and done exceptionally well. Giving you my top vote.

Keep pushing the boundaries. You won't always hit the ball, but those times you do, I really enjoy them.

This would have been so much better if the top of your head wasn't showing! Raise those arms up a tad!! The processing and the shot/lighting are well done.

I must say, I wasn't expecting to see anything like this. It's repulsive and inviting at the same time.
