 Tragedy on a chess board. Taken with a SONY A200 with 1 flash on a trigger with a home made snoot. I took two photos and converge them to get some nice exposure to the pawns in the background. I used the channel mixer for monochrome and added a gradient map for the black and white. Then I played with the levels and and a bit of brightness and contrast. finally I erased the the red from the adjustment layers and added some colour balance to the red to get it a bit more vibrant.
