Composition: I like the simplicity. You put ephasis on the symmetry and the lines. I don't like the upper part of the photo. The reflection is very faint and in my opinion more distracting from the lower part than that it adds something.
I also see a (although very minimal) tilt, clock wise.

Lighting: The lighting is ok. Only thing I don't like is that the white keys are very bright white in the front and grey in the back. I would have liked a more uniform lighting better.

Focus: It looks a bit oversharpened but ok.

Digital Processing: I don't know how the original image looked like, but I think the sharpen in PS and Neat Image created this ugly aliasing on the vertical lines of the keys.
You also used only 112 kB of the allowed maximum 150 kB for your JPEG file. Maybe saving in a higher quality with less compression would have helped.

Art: In my opinion you fulfilled the challenge. I looked up the song lyrics and I read that the song actually mentions a piano and how ebony and ivory live together side by side in "perfect harmony". Reading this, I personally would have tried to zoom in and, mabye even in macro mode, only showing two keys. One ebony and one ivory, side by side. That's only a suggestion to (in my opinion) relate even more to the song. But I'm not saying I could have made the photo better ;-)

Looks like a compression problem or similar on the flats. - Inspzil

i wonder if there is a reason the image is slightly angled.

Like it: the red line and the reflection of the keyboard make it special.

Good idea... But too much dark space above... Should have shot the pic looking down the keyboard? Might have been better.

There is something very strange about the compression in this image. Also, you weem to have used a wide angle lens - in general, shots like these are better shot in 45mm. Very good shot indeed, though (9)

I think a more angled shot would have made this much more interesting.
