I am really happy with all the comments on this. I didn't have a good idea for this one until driving home from work the last day of the challenge and I envisioned this scene. I used my go-to creepy prop -- my wife's old doll. My wife is always a little appalled when I use her beloved doll in creepy shots.

Ideally, it might have been creepier if I used younger model, but my 22 year old daughter was all that was available (thank you, daughter). I used a flashlight pointing up at the older doll with a special diffuser (a sheet of toilet paper). With a second flashlight I did a little light painting on my daughter and an American Girl doll from her youth. One of the problems with rushing through a last minute shoot, edit, and submission is you notice problems after it is too late. I am bothered that my daughter appears to have different colored arms.

The title is a line from Dirty Dancing. After I submitted I realized that the actual line is "Nobody puts baby in the corner."

Dolls kinda creep me out. The lighting on the back doll really enhances the evil/creepy feel to it.

Heh, I recognize the title as a quote from Dirty Dancing. But the imagery is far, far from any romantic human interest story. Geez, the face on the doll in the backdrop is creepy and dangerous. Great lighting to add a sinister and spooky mood to the overall scene. The little girl is curled up asleep and unaware of the danger that lurks behind her.
