 Our lack of urgency in developing alternative fuel sources scares me. I don't find it so far fetched that in the very near future when the oil runs out, that nights become very dark again.

Sadly, he was probably double checking his spreadsheets for a work proposal.

Very much in the vein of NBC's show Revolution:-) Yes, that is spooky and eerie come to think of it. All the buildings in the city are dark except the one lone window in which the light shines like a ghostly glow.
