 Well this one is straight out of the cam. Only the necessities in the DD, such as a crop & a resize tp 640 & the save to web feature & BAM! DPC ready.
This is a touch or go kinda shot. I imagine it will fo poorly & my bid to join the Masters will be horribly rebuffed but heck... I like the sucker.
This was my second shoot 2day. I didnt like the first go. Went with htis 11th hour shot instead!

Love the red glow. Very creative.
There is just a little too much light leeking out on the middle finger that changes the glow, I think it is a little distracting - but that's a personal opinion. And, I like it still!

How many times as I was growing up did I play with flashlights to creat this same image ... ? I'm not sure why, but maybe because it was not new to me, I rated the image lower initially. Then, as I went through the challenge rating the images time and again, I ended up raising your rating at various times. It IS a really nice image. My fingers always ended up more "yellow" looking though because of the flashlight. :-) Good luck with the challenge.

Weird. Looks like a negative of a very light picture. The fingers look almost transparent. I like it.

I really love the idea, but it didn't make a good composition. Maybe just one hand, fingers together, would have been easier to identify, and more interesting. It certainly is a great take on the challenge!

I sure hope speed voting doesn't hurt you on this.. it's a wonderful idea! I'm thniking that maybe a tighter crop (but not a lot tighter) would have helped, and the composition could have been a little more centered, but full marks for creativity :)
