| I wasnt sure about this one at first. It seems very harsh, but the effect is very interesting. You lose some detail on the face. I'm just not sure what to make of this photo. |

| A bit too much glare here - but I know what you tried to achieve and it does work very nicely. She looks a little miserable though which jars with the beauty in the light. |

| Its certainly backlit, but too much in my opinion. Needs less exsposure. Always a tricky one backlighting because the camera's auto exsposure will not be able to cope. Try shooting a series of shots with a range of settings then pick the best one. Unless you intended it to be this way of course? |

| I'm assuming the flare was intentional, but I have to be honest, I just don't like it. this could be a great shot without it. Even leaving the flare and cropping out the top right would make this better (top right is so bright it hurts the eyes). 5 |

| This is a great image, very well composed. IMO the lens artifacts over power the photo and detract from the image. |

| very nice image but lots of harsh interfering light and lens flares which collectively take away from the model and the image itself. a bit darker with less interfering light in front would be fabulous. |

| this is a very lovely photograph. i love the colours and the lighting - the whole thing is steeped in feeling and ideas. thoughts of iconic images of the early seventies comes to mind, and is strangely evocative of France, for some reason. the only thing i would add is that your model might have tried smiling a little bit - not madly but have at least a bit of a grin - all the sinshine and warm colours should really be with a happier sense of feeling, but maybe that's just me. still, a captivating (challenge fitting) shot. well done. 9. |

| I like this shot a lot because the light is really the subject of the photo, while not completely overpowering the woman. Very creative take on this challenge. |

| I feel the light is just a little *too* bright. The idea is wonderful, but the wash-out just distracts me too much, and there's just not enough contrast in the model. |

| While the flare is an interesting idea it completely overwhelms the image without providing any aesthetic or emotional impact. |
