Subtle backlighting - for a classic "old Engligh" look. Black background enhances this. |

its appears the subject is not backlight even tho it may be. Might I suggest a small candle or flashlight to make whatever the flowers are in stand out more thus appearing to have more of a backlight then what is there. Ani interesting shot tho with great clarity. |

I don't think the idea of 'back lighting' is being utilized here. The light source seems to be directly on the flowers. |

The front is too well lit to get any worthwhile backlighting effect. |
