 Had lighting coming in from the lower left back corner and up and under toward jawline.

Adjusted contrast and brightness, cropped using feathered edge and then added white border, and resized also used neat image.

Looks slightly out of focus to me. Crop seems a bit too tight though. I also don't like the feathered border.

Out of focus (or were you going for soft?). Might be interesting in B&W.
