 This is the view of the valley just East (I think) of Kaaterskill Falls in the Catskills. We were actually on our way back from a very late lunch after shooting Kaaterskill top and bottom, and we saw the fog/clouds that rolled into the valley. There was no place to pull over though until we got to the Kaaterskill falls parking area. This is actually the view from that area!

It's quite beautiful in color as well, but the fall colors didn't say "silence" to me...so I silenced them in BW :)

I like the fog,but I don't like much the effect of black and white,I usually prefer coloured photos...

Very beautiful shot indeed.
I do not think that the white lines and black borders add one bit to the image, actually they take away some of the subtleties of the shot
