I woke up at 5:30am and drove up to Amicalola Falls in North Georgia to get some pictures. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful morning to test out my new Hoya ND 3 filter.

Impressive, it seems to suggest a human shape. From the small thumbnail for a moment I thought it was light paintng.

My guess is that you oversaturated your blues a bit while you were boosting the saturation on the rest of the image. If you pull back the saturation on the Blue channel about -25, the image would not have had the purplish tint.


Yeah, that's probably a good call. I'll go back and play with it a bit. I usually tend towards a more desaturated look and have been going back and forth on if I should go back in and play with this. I think you've inspired me to do that. Haha. Thanks for the comments!

Thanks. I was honestly surprised it was being rated as low as it was. It was below 6 for most of the vote which was very surprising to me, but whatever. I like it, and that's all that really matters! :)

When I saw the thumbnail of this, it looked to me like a neon outline of a person... That was cool, then open it and surprise, it's double cool... beautiful!!!
