This tree is located quite near the place where I live. My first intention was to make the photo with tripod, maybe using some filters and so on.
Finally I had no time at all, as I arrived late, and the sunset passed really fast. I only had 2 minutes to set the camera parameters and make the shot, hand held obviously. I was really happy with the result anyway.
This is my first blue ribbon, you can imagine the smile in my face when I woke up this morning... ;-) Thank you!!

Wonderful tree silhouette and I love that last bit of sunrise. The foreboding clouds in the sky are the perfect backdrop. Congratulations on the blue.

Absolutely gorgeous shot.
this is what I had planned on doing. saw a BEAUTIFUL large barren tree, just never got time to go out at sunset to shoot it, or sunrise for that matter.
wonderful colors in this shot.
