Very hard to take a picture of my wife and convince her that it deserves to be to submitted to a challenge :)

Maybe it didn't get a better score because some people could see it as a sort of snapshot. It's not a snapshot because I had the challenge title in mind but I didn't sacrifice our beautiful day for a more studied shot. You're right, the crop was the main issue: I had to crop on the right because of an electricity pole right behind her. The square crop is something I almost never use, and i liked the lines in the left as well. |

A wonderful moment, a beautiful family. Trying to figure out why it scored where it did...maybe the crop? It almost seems that a more square crop with the baby and Mom at opposite corners may have been more conventional and scored better. But personally, I like the lines on the left and the tree over Mom's head on the right. Well done. |
