 While I was out wandering with my camera one day during the challenge, I happened upon this turtle, out fishing in his boat. It was during the challenge... I thought he was cute, AND I thought I might be able to "shoehorn" him into the Sayings and Cliches challenge....

So, here you have it.




POST: Of course, the turtle is real and the fish is not. It was taken specifically for the title. My son was holding the back of the boat (in the pool) to balance it. Mr. Turtle did not seem to mind his boat ride in the least. Actually, I think he enjoyed it.

Stories to tell the fam when he got home that night, I'm sure. :D

Always good to see an unabashed shoehorn - glad he finished nicely and I'm sure he would be pleased, too. No time for comments before the roll-over on this challenge - 7 from me.
