Shutter: 1/400
Galleries: Fashion, Black and White
Date Uploaded: Sep 7, 2004

 For the B&W conversion: Switched to LAB mode, deleted all but the lightness channel.

Then to fine tune the photo, I switched back to RGB and used levels, cropped, usm and thin border.

I really like this crop as well as the frame. The focus is a little soft on her eye. Seems the light is coming from the side.

When very close like this the focus must be spot on and pin point sharp. I feel the point of focus should be the eye and it doesn't seem sharp to me. A very good idea and well composed.

slightly out of focus it seems like, no doubt in part to the last photo i looked at was tack sharp

I'd try to get eye more toward the center, either by cropping on the right or adding more to the left. Nice tone though.
