 After trying a variety of methods to achieve this effect, I ended up shooting a long exposure (13 seconds) and then running around firing a couple of flash guns and a few optical slaves manually several times... by the end of it, I was exhausted!

I also thought this was just GREAT! I got a 10 from me. I anticipated it was going to do much better! I guess some just did not take the strategically placed flashes as backlight!
