 exposure compensation at -0.3 ; slow sync flash at -1.3EV ; 60mm macro lens with tungsten backlighting from both sides - and the rest was a lot of cautious fun with two aging flowers that tried to drop their petals as I gingerly moved them around ...

Pretty, good selection of background too! Really sets the flower color off nicely.

Nice idea. Brighter light might be better, or a different light angle. Looks like natural light so I suppose that would be hard. I would probably like little looser crop. And maybe try focusing a little more on one than the other. Nice though.
