I have some photos of the Fresno airport that aren't blah, but they're uncommon. That's the challenge.

The sky is very powerful with great colors and clouds. The airport is kind of blah and adds little to the image.

Standing alone this is good. I think it needs some added interest to make it pop! A plane just taking off perhaps?
