The Lincoln Memorial is an enormous building, but I liked bringing it back to the scale of the people who visit. As the inscriptions says, it's there for them. I had other shots with no cell phones visible, but I thought the little blue bits added interest, so chose this one. I fully expect someone to complain about them, though. :)

This was a very nice night. My daughter asked me to take her friends and her shooting that night, and it was a warm, very pleasant evening to walk around. In addition to the Licoln Memorial, we saw the memorials for the Vietnam and Korean Wars and World War II.

Works well, being lit where the tourists are not.

OMG those cell phones. Do they know how bad their image will be when displayed on that monster flat screen in their lounge later...
