Challenge: The Moon II (Expert Editing)
Collection: Portfolio
Camera: Canon EOS-40D
Lens: Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 II USM
Location: Pequest River, NJ
Date: Sep 1, 2012
Aperture: 4.5
ISO: 400
Shutter: 125
Date Uploaded: Sep 2, 2012

created from one exposure of a baby turtle in the grass. the moon is created with a large brush. the big white spot is blended with difference. the background image is converted to black and white in a very dark way. the edges of the circle are deleted to make it more glow-like and 3-D. I cropped off some of the left and top for a good composition.

Turtles, chickens, worms, sheep, dogs, what a menagerie! I did love that the tail was sticking out -- that's what made this fascinating.

Marvelous idea. Went directly into my favorite folder in spite of the rush deleted edges of the moon (wondering if it was needed at all).
Yes, splendor in the grass!

Interesting. Looks like an xray of a turtle egg! Maybe a tail is sticking out of it too?

I gave this a 5 first time around but the more I look the more I appreciate; being a Sir Terry Pratchett/Discworld fan the faint little turtle won me over 8. If you don't know what I mean Goolge Discworld.
