| I like this. Sad it scored so low, but I know that's not something that you really worry about :) Got a 7 from me on first run through, ran out of time to do a second run through, but I would probably have bumped it (up!) |

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Great street-based image that benefits from your choice to keep it in colour. The foreground rain drops work really well, as does the motion blur of the people. The highlight of course is the cheeky title of your image top right - It anchors the frame wonderfully.
Critical stuff: I might have been tempted to suppress the yellow/orange coloration - the rest of the image has that slight cyan and red coloration I often envy in Leica M system images. The yellow detract a little from that.
Overall: A little gem. |
