I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Gorgeous vintage toning and amazing POV. The line made by the surf and tracked by the parasols is just lovely. I wonder if this is Ben's - he's been on the beach this month and the tones are definitely Bennish! I like the square crop too - it maximises the screen real estate and give the image room to breathe. This is good because this image makes you want to take a deep breath.

Critical stuff: Nope

Overall: Charming image - like a 50s postcard.
