 This shot was taken at Fort Totten, Queens NY. I was on my way out when the sun was completely set. The sky had some really nice blues so I used a cool w/b. The moon was shot about 2 hours later off of my balcony at f/11, 1/200s, 100 ISO and a cool w/b.

I first cropped the bridge pic to eliminate some of the foreground off to the left of the shot. Then I tweaked the exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, clarity, vibrance and saturation in Lightroom. Same adjustments were made to the moon. The 2 shots were then combined in photoshop. The moon was sized up, added its reflection, and added stars using layers.

The lens I used was the Nikon 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR (I don't think it was listed on the site's selection menu). The shot was taken at 18mm.

Lovely. I feel like the moon's reflection is just a tad fake.. Nicely done none the less. Very pleasing image.

The scene itself is very pretty. But I really feel the moon reflection just does not belong.

Lovely blue tones and clarity and nice composition. I could do without the intruding branches. Voted earlier.

Pretty scene. Unfortunately, the reflection's not below the moon and it's smaller, making it clear the moon wasn't really there.

Lovely photograph. The sailboat in the middle adds to the feel of the composition. Very nice editing.
