 so the guy waved to the angel showing a coin or two, flipped them into the box sitting at her feet, then rushed to her side for the photo op. To the sound of the coins, the statue blinked, and then hit a tiny bell tuning everybody's attention. I snapped from the hip, and was happy to have that wondering kid included.

wanted the lens choice to deliver a sense of strangeness. Also, it is easier to snap from the hip with a wide angle. Thanks for your generous words (and score).

I gave you a 7. I love the capture but I will admit I was distracted by the intense distortion of the wide-angle... the "fisheye" look. I think it overwhelms the shot a bit. But that might just be my bias. It's a great shot nonetheless.
